1. We coat your child’s hand or foot with a casting mixture. 2. The mixture is left on for approx. 3 minutes until it sets. 3. The mould is carefully removed leaving no residue. 4. The mould is taken away and a cast is created using the finest plaster. 5. The cast is hand-finished, coloured, mounted and framed to your specification. 6. The finished product will be ready for you in approximately 2 weeks. Bronze and aluminium casts will take approx. 6-8 weeks. Note: The casting mixture is an alginate (seaweed-based) mixture that dentists use to make teeth impressions, and has been specifically designed for taking skin moulds

6.	How long does it take?
	Our visit lasts approximately 30 mins. Then, the mould is taken away to create the plaster cast.

7.	Is it messy?
	No. The casting can take place anywhere in your home. A protective cover is used and any spilt mixture peels off easily.

8.	When will the finished product be ready?
	The framed plaster casts will take approximately 2 weeks from the day we take the cast. Aluminium and bronze casts will take approx. 6-8 weeks.

9.	I want to commission a cast of a body part which is not mentioned on your website. Is this possible?
	Yes, anything can be cast. Please contact us to discuss your idea.

10.	Can you finish the cast in a different colour to the ones mentioned on the website?
